Create a Subscribe Animation
Add a subscribe prompt to your video — full-frame slides, a click burst, a corner bug, or a green-screen subscribe bar you key over footage.

#Overview
Subscribe animations remind viewers to hit the button. HeyMotion offers four, and one of them is a green-screen overlay:
- Subscribe — minimal slide (Subscribe) — a clean full-frame subscribe card.
- Subscribe — click burst (Subscribe) — the button with a satisfying click burst.
- Subscribe — corner bug (Subscribe) — a small corner prompt.
- Subscribe bar (overlay) (Core / Overlays) — a green-screen bar you key over your footage.
Subscribe bar (overlay) renders on a solid green #00FF00 background so you can chroma-key it over your video. The three Subscribe category templates are full-frame graphics that don't need keying. See Create a Lower-Third for how keying works.
#When to Use It
Use a full-frame Subscribe — minimal slide or click burst as a dedicated moment — an outro or a mid-roll beat. Use the corner bug or the green-screen Subscribe bar when you want the prompt to sit over your footage without stopping the video.
#Before You Begin
You'll export an MP4, so use a Chromium browser — Google Chrome (desktop) is recommended. No account is required. Your handle (for example, @SystemPromptAI) comes from your brand kit, so set it there once.
#Step-by-Step Instructions
- Open the studio at https://heymotion.io/app.
- Pick a template: Subscribe — minimal slide, Subscribe — click burst, or Subscribe — corner bug (full-frame), or Subscribe bar (overlay) (green-screen).
- In the edit panel, adjust any text fields; the handle typically flows from your brand.
- Set Clip length (seconds) — 2 to 4 seconds is plenty for a subscribe beat.
- Press ↺ Replay to review.
- Click ⬇ Export MP4. If you chose the overlay, key out the green in your editor.

#Best Practices
Keep subscribe beats short so they don't stall the video. Use the corner bug or green-screen bar for a light-touch reminder that doesn't interrupt. Set your handle in the brand kit once so every subscribe clip matches.
#Common Mistakes
Forgetting that Subscribe bar is green-screen and leaving the green in the final cut is the common one. The other is running the beat too long — a subscribe reminder wears out fast.
