Manage Your Subscription

HeyMotion's plans — Free, Founding, Creator, Studio, and Agency — and how to upgrade, change, or manage billing from your account page. Checkout runs through Stripe.

feature guide

HeyMotion has a free plan you can use without paying, and paid plans you buy through secure Stripe checkout. This article covers what each plan includes and how to upgrade or manage your billing.

#The plans

Free is usable without paying. Paid plans are purchased through Stripe checkout, and per-plan limits (exports, resolution, watermark) are enforced automatically.

  • Free — $0. Starter template set, 720p exports, small watermark, 5 exports/month, 1 brand kit. MCP access with 3 renders/month.
  • Founding — $9/mo. First 25 members only, locked for life (then $15/mo): full 100-template library, unlimited 1080p exports, no watermark, all 5 formats, image uploads, saved presets and cloud brand, MCP access with 20 renders/month.
  • Creator — $15/mo (or $150/yr). Unlimited 1080p exports, no watermark, all 5 formats, image & logo uploads, saved presets, MCP access with 20 renders/month. 1 brand kit, 1 seat.
  • Studio — $49/mo. Everything in Creator, plus unlimited 4K exports, 5 brand kits, 5 seats, priority rendering, and MCP access with 200 renders/month.
  • Agency — $149/mo (or $1,490/yr). Everything in Studio, plus 10 brand kits, 10 seats, and MCP access with 2,000 renders/month — built for teams automating at scale.

Founding-member rate is $9/mo locked for life for the first 25 customers. After the first 25 the rate is $15/mo.

#How to upgrade

  1. Go to your account page (or open the pricing page and choose a plan).
  2. Pick the plan that fits — Founding, Creator, Studio or Agency — and click through to checkout.
  3. You'll be taken to Stripe to enter payment details. HeyMotion never sees your card number — Stripe handles it.
  4. As soon as the payment succeeds, your account is upgraded and the new limits (unlimited exports, no watermark, higher resolution) apply immediately.

If you started from the pricing page while signed out, you'll be asked to sign in or create an account first, then sent straight to checkout for the plan you picked.

#Manage or change your billing

Your account page shows your current plan and your usage for the month. Usage is split into two meters because two different things are counted: exports, the videos you render yourself in the studio, and renders, the clips an AI assistant produces through your remote MCP key. They have separate allowances and neither one draws down the other — Renders vs Exports explains exactly what counts as which.

To update your card, view invoices, or change your plan, use the billing controls there — these open the Stripe billing portal, where you can manage the subscription directly.

#Founding members

The founding rate is locked for life: as long as your subscription stays active, the price never rises, even after the standard rate goes up. Founding is limited to the first 25 customers.
