Upload Your Logo
Add your logo once and it fills every logo spot across all templates — or use a clean text fallback plus your handle.
Your logo is part of your brand kit, so you add it once and it appears everywhere. HeyMotion gives you two ways to supply a logo — an uploaded image, or a text fallback of up to three lines — plus a handle field for your social name.
#Overview
When you set a logo in the Brand panel, every template that has a logo spot uses it automatically. You don't place the logo per template; it flows in from the brand tokens like your colors and fonts.
There are two logo sources:
- Image logo — upload a file. Whenever a brand image is set, it fills all logo spots across every template.
- Text logo — up to 3 lines of text. This is the fallback used when no image is uploaded.
Alongside the logo is your handle — your @name (the default is @SystemPromptAI), used where templates show a handle.
#When to Use It
Upload an image logo when you have a real logomark or wordmark you want on your graphics. Use the text logo when you don't have an image handy, or when a clean typographic name fits the look better.
#Before You Begin
No account is required. Your logo saves to your browser and, when you're signed in, syncs to the cloud with the rest of your brand. Have your logo file ready in any format your browser can display.
#Step-by-Step Instructions
#1. Open the Brand panel
Click the 🎨 Brand toggle at the top of the edit panel on the right.
#2. Upload a logo image
Find the logo control and choose your file. HeyMotion reads the image directly in your browser (as a data URL) and embeds it — nothing is uploaded to a server. Your logo appears in every logo spot immediately.
#3. Or set a text logo
If you'd rather use text, leave the image empty and type up to three lines of logo text. This is the fallback used whenever no image is present.
#4. Set your handle
Type your handle (for example, @SystemPromptAI) into the handle field so templates that show a handle use it.
#5. Remove or replace
To swap logos, upload a new image over the old one. To go back to text, remove the image so the text fallback takes over again.

#Supported Formats
Because the logo is read straight from the file in your browser, any browser-displayable image format works — PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF, or SVG. A transparent PNG is recommended: transparency is preserved, so your logo sits cleanly over any background style. See Supported File Formats for the full list.
There is no hard file-size limit enforced, but very large images can slow the studio down. Keep logo files reasonably sized as a matter of guidance, not a rule.
#Guidance on Dimensions and Transparency
- Use a transparent PNG so the logo blends with any of the 6 background styles rather than sitting on a colored box.
- Upload at a generous resolution. The composition is 1920×1080, and some templates scale the logo up. A crisp, high-resolution source keeps edges sharp.
- Trim empty margins in your source file so the logo isn't floating with lots of padding.
#Best Practices
Upload one clean, transparent logo and let it flow everywhere. Set your handle at the same time so lower-thirds and subscribe bars show the right name.
#Common Mistakes
Uploading a small, low-resolution logo is the usual cause of soft edges once a template scales it up. Start from the largest clean version you have.
